"Oh? You'd better be careful," he shot back, his smile turning into a suspicious glare. "Talk of vigilantism can be career suicide. You wouldn't want to tarnish that sparkling record of yours. Even Mello wasn't so outwardly extreme, and he's rather nutsy." That was a lie, mostly, but at least Mello had a sense of humor. This one was just... creepy. The kind of creepy, self-righteous loophole master that he loved to hate.
