"Yeah, all that stuff," Steph said, a smile plastered across her features that managed to be friendly while sharp enough to cut through steel. Or Blair's fake-looking nails. Whichever.
"You wanna see?" Steph reached into her backpack - her backpack that was charmed to be bigger in the inside. She pulled the thing up to her shoulder, which to an outsider looked physically impossible, finally coming out with a wand. She pointed it in Blair's direction, waving it around a bit so that sparks shot from the tip. Not enough to cause any harm, but enough to singe Blair's (admittedly awesome) coat if she didn't step back.
"Ack, sorry!" Steph bit her lip, looking wholly apologetic. "Wands, they spark sometimes. Anyway, do you want a demonstration on the newt thing? It's actually a really simple spell."
Not that Steph ever had a chance to try it on a human. Neither George (her usually willing test subjectboyfriend) nor Sam (her study buddy) were willing to let test it out! Weird.
