Sure, it seemed like everything I and Peter did resulted in...some horrible fight. But that was hardly his fault. It was mine. His way of communicating was much less horizontal than I was used to and until he figured out what he wanted I was up in the air. And hating it. But for him I'd muddle through and desperately hope that I didn't screw everything up before it started. My fingers laced with Peter's and I leaned my shoulder slightly into him at his little add-on to Claire. Yeah, this whole situation had to be tough. Families were hard enough when there was just one.
Claire's question made me blink and then shrug. "Sure. Anything you want." Only totally not my Takata tour t-shirt or my cute red leather jacket.
Ah. Okay, she was totally Peter's niece. Squeezing his hand slightly, I nodded. "Peter's your guy then, yeah. But tell you what - if you want, I can give you sparring lessons. Help you out with some stuff. Peter's been working with me a little and he's really good. You could join us." Then I grinned. "And we'll make him make him wait on us afterward. Nothing like a good action movie after hand-to-hand training."
