Needless to say, ever since Peter had finished talking to Claire for the first time in the Sorting Room, he'd stuck around. Lurking invisibly at the back of the room, watching everybody that she talked to and looking out for her safety. Partly because she was family, yes, and he felt a duty to her, especially after Mr. Bennet made him promise to keep her safe - but she was so young, and who knew what kind of creepy people there might be in this castle.
It had been pretty amusing when Rachel had started talking to Claire, but now she was just getting panicked and apparently Peter had to step in before bad things happened. With a roll of his eyes, Peter walked over to them, shedding the invisibility with a ripple of air as he stood next to them.
"Dozens of people were randomly married by one of the, er, people that runs this place," he filled in. "There's a whole tent village and everything."
