"Maybe," Peter shrugged, half-smiling. Having never had much experience in office politics, he had no idea why a probably-homeless guy would walk into an office just to not do any work, but the world was a strange place.
The question caught him slightly off guard - though it shouldn't have, his family changed topics during conversations more than most people changed underwear (except for hobos, who presumably didn't). "Oh, nothing great, actually," he grinned awkwardly. "Kind of turns out all doom and gloom. It'd be nice to paint something good for a change."
