Peter would be able to say, in all truthfulness, that he'd witnessed some amazing things ever since he'd first started dreaming about flying. A lot of those amazing things had been used to do harm, granted, but amazing things but any normal persons standards. Nonetheless, when the washing supplies appeared in front of them, Peter gawped like an idiot, eyes wide.
Then, a smile spread across his face. "I think I underestimated this place," he commented. But at the comment of there being a spell to cut his hair, the smile abruptly froze and vanished. There were two things wrong with that. The first one was... a spell? And the second, well. Peter reached up to touch his hair, realizing that the longest part was almost down to his chin. But that was fine. He didn't need a hair-cut!
But he summoned the smile back. "Thanks," he smiled gratefully, wasting no time in splashing water on his face and hair, scrubbing his hands over both. "So, spells? Seriously? What, like hocus pocus? If I'd known that had worked, my childhood would have been awesome."
