Laughing a little, Lily closed her eyes, looking for all the world as if he'd slapped her. "Let me see if I understand this," she said, gaze going to him, mouth twisted in disgust. "I lost my best friend, I spent months blaming myself over it, I had to deal with all this shite on my own, because I got drunk, you took advantage, and then you didn't have the balls to deal with it the morning after?"
She had moved closer to him, a kind of rage that had never before been directed at Sirius in her eyes. It was how she looked when confronted with a Death Eater or a Malfoy or someone she had no respect or trust for. It was how she looked when she was one move away from hexing someone. "Want to know what the worst part is? You didn't stop because you realized that I was so fucking drunk I couldn't see straight. You didn't fucking stop because you were a good guy. You stopped because of James. Because of some dead guy. So what, Sirius? If I hadn't been the wife of your dead best mate, you'd have fucked me anyway? Is that all I had to do before? Merlin, why did I waste all that time trying to deal with your issues? I could have just drank until I threw up and it'd been like a fucking love potion."
By the end of that a few angry tears had started to fall, but she roughly scrubbed them away. "You have no idea what you did, Sirius. You blame me for not being able to talk to you? Well guess what? My issues? Are no longer your concern." She fixed him with a glare. "Get out of my house. I never want to see you again. You stay away from me, you stay away from my son. Or so help me God, Sirius, I will make you wish you could die on campus."
