Monochromatic? Maybe a bit. But it was traditional doctor wear, of course, and, well, scrubs were comfortable. He had no problem with it. "I have different shirts underneath...!" he offered, pulling at the collar of his own shirt and shrugging a bit. Patterns, those weren't Doug's style at all, not unless on vacation. Then, yes, bright shirts may have been totally him, maybe rocking some khakis and sandals as well. But then sand got in his eyes and he burned like nobody's business and, well, vacation wasn't much for him. So scrubs it was.
