He finally did allow himself to look back upwards, eyebrows knitted in questioning.
"You don't look dead," he finally added, just as hesitantly, tilting his head a bit. And she didn't. Because dead people didn't tend to move. Except for those ones in the morgue. He shuddered a bit at the memory. Those were out to get him. Those jumped off the shelves to attack him and break both his feet.
