Fraser stiffened as Ray, apropos of nothing, nuzzled into him like a sleeping puppy, or maybe Dief on a sugar high. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes again and tried to clear his head. It was nothing, of course -- he was only feeling disturbed because he had thought of Victoria, and even three years later that wasn't exactly calming. But it didn't help that Ray's presence, his closeness, were muddling things up, making it worse. The heat coming off him was almost stifling, and the weight of him felt oddly pressing. When he shifted again and the stubble on his cheek scratched up against the open collar of Fraser's long johns, that was simply too much to handle. Strange things were happening, and Fraser was, to use one of Ray's idioms, 'totally freaked out.'
Opening his eyes again, Fraser stared down at the body against his, trying to figure out what to do. As distressed as he was, he didn't want to upset Ray again... Licking his lips, he attempted to extricate himself, slowly trying to detangle his legs from Ray's.
