Open RP - Tyrion blows stuff up
After having received dynamite as a sorting bribe, Tyrion had gone to the Hogwarts library, looked up how this was supposed to work, then headed outside, sorting bribe in hand.
He'd done enough good deeds lately, and he decided now it was time to relieve a little stress. Watching things explode seemed like the quickest way toward that end, and so he sought a secluded part of the grounds where he could set the dynamite off without actually hurting anything.

Still under the influence of a shrinking charm that made him a fraction of his true size (useful when he sought to enter the castle, as he'd recently done (http://community.livejournal.com/hogwarts_hocus/1058391.html?thread=53328215#t53328215)), Ancalagon remained roughly three times as large as an average draft horse; his bulk wasn't easily concealed, though he might have been difficult to spot as he lay perfectly still in the shade beneath the trees, the blackness of his scales providing an efficient camouflage.
Upon hearing Tyrion's approach, the black dragon stirred and regarded the strange creature -- halfling? beardless dwarf? -- with slit red eyes as he raised his head from the ground, exhaling a plume of dark smoke. Lacking an understanding of dynamite, he perceived no threat, and so made no effort to rise into a defensive position.
"What business have you this far out?" It was unusual to be disturbed in this place, as students were barred from entering the woods. Either the mortal was lost, or else perhaps likewise desired solitude.
