house-elf delivery to Ginny Weasley

Aloysius II brings to the Slythendor suite a large box with a card, in handwriting familiar to Ginny, with an annotation below in a different hand also familiar.

Inside the box is a small indoor fountain, modified to run by magic.

The note reads:

Ginny ~

Happy birthday!

River

Beneath this is written:

This has been sitting in our quarters for some time, with the card, and a date written on the box. I am not sure how she knew what your birthday was -- whether you had told her -- but clearly she had planned ahead for it. I too wish you many happy returns of the day, and I know she would have wanted me to convey this to you in her stead.
