Birthday gift for Ryuuji.

A black lacquered box is left outside the door to Ryuuji's room, padded with white silk and containing the corpse of a nightingale that had its throat cleanly cut. A carefully folded parchment lies underneath it, with Keats' Ode to A Nightingale written out in a bold hand and black ink. The word "Darkling" is shadowed in red, just in case Ryuuji manages to somehow miss the the point of the poem.

There's no other clue to the giver's identity beyond that, but no other clue is needed.
