What do idle hunters and magic breed? More Pranks! ((Closed RP, Sam, Dean, Bobby and Cas))
As Dean neared the bar he saw Bobby and Cas walking out together, it was his lucky day. Dean grinned as the two men stepped out of the bar and pulled his wand free from his jeans "Fancy meetin' you two here." With that the hunter wiggled his eyebrows and quickly uttered the words to the first spell, aiming for Bobby first, he knew he needed to instigate the hunter mostly and hoped Cas would follow along. Of course his spell missed and in the next instant Dean turned and fired another misfired spell at Cas.
Eyes going wide, he played it off well as he looked at the two men left unaffected and then down at his wand "Crap, these things don't shoot like guns." And with that, and another set of misfired spells over his shoulders Dean Winchester took off running down the halls heading for the spot Sam had set up .

Not the boys. Dear God not the boys. his mind chanted with every step. As he neared the room he could hear an anguished child's wail. Rounding the corner, he was stunned at the sight. A nearly hysterical toddler was screaming at Dean, his little face red and.. wings? Jesus, it was the angel?
There were some things a father never forgot, and soothing an upset child ranked pretty high on the list. Sam and Dean needed a more experienced hand to help out this time.
John knelt down, gently disengaging tiny fists from his son's shirt and scooped Castiel up in his arms. He held the child against his shoulder, his large hand patting the boy's back as he rocked him, making low soothing sounds. The toddler flailed against being taken away, his screams getting even louder, tiny fists pounding at the man's shoulder for a moment, but John never broke stride. He kept rocking the boy, murmuring quietly to him. When the hysterical sobbing had subsided into low snuffling hiccups, he turned his attention back to his own sons. "Where's Bobby?"

When John walked in and took Cas, Dean stood back up and watched with an almost awed expression. He made it look so easy, one thing was for certain, just these few moments had made Dean Winchester question if he could handle kids, stopping the apocalypse sure, Ben had been easier, but this toddler stage, he might not be man enough to handle it.
He went to talk "Ho.." Dean stopped himself and lowered his tone, afraid to set Cas off again "How the hell did you do that?" Dean stepped back beside Sam and then he heard his Dad ask about Bobby and he looked down at his feet uncomfortable instantly because no matter that it started as a prank, Dean knew that Bobby laying in his room sick was his fault "He..somethin' happened, we don't know yet, Cas ain't been able to tell us. He's sick, dad. Adam's with him."

More or less restored to calm, and convinced now that he wasn't in trouble with all his friends, he listened to the conversation without really understanding any of it. Finally, though, instinct took over again and he leaned out of John's arms, stretching his own toward the most familiar and trusted person in the room.

The elder Winchester smiled at the little boy in his arms who was reaching imploringly to his son. “Just take him, Dean,” he said softly. “Be calm and he’ll be fine.” When the angel was settled with his son, John looked at them both, his expression one of growing alarm. “What do you mean Bobby’s sick? What happened? Where is he?”

He sputtered a little as he at first looked from his dad to the angel and back again, even to Sam fora moment, anyone, but then John told him what to do and Dean reached out. He gingerly took Cas in his arms and after a moment or two he settled the toddler against his chest as he looked over at John and whispered, afraid to talk too loud "But why me?" He turned his head slightly to look at Cas from the corner of his eyes and give a slight grin, he didn't want him to think he was upset and get upset again. Dean was just dumbfounded, he had never really handled children this size, not since he wasn't much more than a kid himself.
"I don't know what happened, but he's with Adam and Death, now stop before you start freakin' out. She ain't the same bring you to hell Death we're used to dealin' with. She helped me out, she ain't gonna let nothin' happen to Bobby or Adam." It was rare, Dean would vouch for Cas who was not human, but to vouch for Death or any form of possible demonic, supernatural or possibly evil entity well that wasn't his style. It showed that he meant exactly what he said, he trusted the woman to take care of the two. Odd as that may be.

When Dean mentioned that the girl had been Death, both men stared at him in shock. John recovered first. "Still, I'm going to go check on Bobby. Dean, take him to bed," he said, indicating the toddler comfortably nestled in his son's arms. "And stay with him until he changes back." With that, he headed for the door to check in on his friend.
"That was Death? Seriously?"

"Def's 'ice," he added helpfully (and a bit sleepily,) his head resting trustingly on Dean's shoulder. "Us 'ent into da s'iny bildin' wif da sk'ishy t'in's an' peng'ins." He yawned, and settled comfortably against his friend's familiar leather jacket, drowsing.

He nodded at his dad "Uh, you might want to go lighter than usual with Adam, I'll explain once Bobby and Cas are alright." He knew he had to tell his dad and Adam the truth, him and Sam both. He almost thought maybe he should send Sam with John, but then he thought of how explosive those three heads butting together could get and Bobby didn't need that right now.
Dean had turned to respond to Sam after John left but then Cas spoke up and the hunter just stared at the angel while he spoke and then simply nestled against his leather jacket. Dean cracked that cocky grin of his and shrugged his other shoulder "You heard the kid, Death's nice. She ain't like the one back home, Sammy. She won't hurt neither one of them." He headed for the door, taking his steps more careful than he normally did the minimize the jostling of the drowsing Cas "C'mon Sammy, I ain't doin' guard duty by myself, this is gonna take two of us."
