The Water Warlocks (Open Chocolate Plot, whole school)
They'd raced through the dungeon, Kuronue taking the West end, Kurama the East, and by the time they met up again, every water pipe in the place was glowing a different color. Some were even alight with colors that didn't even exist, or sparkled and dripped in disconcerting ways.
"Excellent," Kurama grinned, shoving his wand back into its holster. "I wonder what'll happen once the sprinklers go on in the greenhouses."
There was a long pause of contemplation.
"I think you might wanna take a day or two off work," Kuronue said, catching a distant tinkle of glass as something in that general area broke. Or, broke free.
"D'you think we might not have planned this out too carefully?" Kurama asked.
Another long pause.
“Still, you know... No need to get tentacle raped or something.” Kuronue looked oddly pleased at the possibility of such happening however. Especially since he knew it was possible.
Well, it was Kurama.
((OOC - Kuro socking done with mun approval. Basic chocolate plot rules apply, all the water in the school is magicked, cursed, charmed, and so forth, all with different effects up to the mun. Have fun!))

Kusuriyuri frowned at Kurama. "What he forgets is that he has been hexed so that his aspects are separate. Kuronue was hexed into being human."
"Human?" Yukimura echoed, his eyes widening as he leaned more against the peddler, his knees weakening. "Just human, nothing else?" he asked, his voice faint.

Wait, what?
He turned, and his arms shot out around the corner, closing on his other arm. Kurama and Youko stared at each other for a moment, the sensation still dizzyingly weird. The Kurama scowled, and started hitting him. "This is your fault, you stupid, emotionally underdeveloped pig," the redhead growled.
Youko let him go and held up his hands. "Oh, I'm sure I'm not nearly as nice as all that, you forgot egotistical and still half bent on world domination."
"And that," Kurama snapped. "Where's- oh, Yukimura, you're here. Good, follow me." Youko tried to take the lead and Kurama hit him again. "Not that me."

"Whichever of you knows where Kuronue is, lead us there quickly," Kusuriyuri added, adjusting his hold, though the samurai seemed to be able and willing to support his own weight now. Kusuriyuri wasn't entirely pleased with Kurama just now, but they could deal with that later.

"It wasn't a thorough plan but at least we'll all be together eventually," Youko sniffed. If it hadn't been for the urgency he could feel radiating off of Yukimura, Kurama would have stopped to punch him. But, other things were more important.

When he rounded a corner he just about tripped over himself as he saw Yukimura, Kurama and Kusuriyuri. He almost fell a few times when his body just didn't want to run as fast as he tried to make it go. "Yuki!"
He pushed his was past Kurama and Youko rather indelicately and more collided with his lover than reached him, wrapping his arm around him and clinging to him like a starfish. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he said, squeezing him tight and burying his face in his neck.

"And what has this taught us on bad decision-making?" he said testily, turning and stamping hard on the urge to kick himself in the dick. Youko stared back at him guilelessly.
"I was only telling the truth. Kusu can tell you, he knows it when he sees it," Youko protested.
"I hate you so much," Kurama said, covering his face in his hands. "I hate everything about you."
"I am you. Quit- Koi," Youko turned to Kusuriyuri, "tell him he's being a baby."

Kusuriyuri turned a silent glare on Kurama and Youko.

He lifted his head and pulled Yukimura's up with his hands on either side of his face. He tried to divine what Yukimura had been about to say and then frowned when he couldn't. Making a frustrated sound and the sight of Yukimura breaking his heart. He kissed him. "I should have found you sooner..."
no subject
"All right," he said, after glancing back around the corner at Kuro and Yuki, though without any kind of guilt. "I should have thought about Yuki earlier, but I didn't know they'd... y'know, been separated."
Kurama let out an exasperated sigh, but said nothing. He was too angry at himself and too out of his depth to even know where to start apologizing. he couldn't even look Kusuriyuri in the face.

Yukimura's hands moved to Kuronue's cheeks. There was so much he could say along their bond that he just couldn't communicate verbally. He couldn't say aloud he'd been terrified Kuronue had left, had become popcorn without warning. He couldn't say how painful it was not to be able to feel his lover, how much he'd come to rely on that sensation. "I couldn't find you," he whispered, his voice broken.

He kissed his cheek, his forehead, tried to calm him with physical contact, though that didn't seem to go deep enough.
no subject
"Don't," Kurama started, but Youko clapped a hand over his mouth and shoved him violently back.
"Why do you expect me to always know every outcome of a given situation," Youko asked, his voice very calm, and very cold. "How was I supposed to divine that a jinx would sever their bond? I'm not part of it, I can't tell when that kind of energy is around or not; it's just them. If something was wrong, Kuronue at least I'd expect to say something, but I can't just know because it's convenient."
no subject
Yukimura pressed himself against Kuronue. "Will it come back?" he asked, his voice soft, pale sounding. He wanted to be alone, in their room, away from everyone else save perhaps Sasuke. He couldn't let himself be this weak in public.
no subject
"I'm not sure how its going to work out but I think its safe to say Kurama and Kusuriyuri have a few things they need to talk about." It would have been so much easier to show Yukimura what he meant through their bond. Without he only felt like half a person, that he was back to being unbalanced and young. The sensation of floundering in emotions due to Kurama was familiar and almost nostalgic.
no subject
"It isn't just that," he said, pinning Youko with a glare before he could say anything else stupid. "Emotion over there thought he saw an opportunity, and-"
"-Didn't think of talking to Yuki first since that hasn't been an issue for them before," Youko muttered. "Kuro can go out and fuck whoever he wants, why should it be different if it's me and you approve?" He would have gone on, but Kurama hit him again. He grunted, and quieted down.
"If you're quite done. It's not just the sex," Kurama said, trying to sound reasonable while his emotions muttered in the background. "It's a major part of it, but, there's so much we haven't been able to settle because of all that tension. I," he flushed, mostly out of irritation. He could hear Kuro and Yuki talking quietly to one another. "Let's go home and talk about this, please."
no subject
Yukimura clung to Kuronue's clothing. "If we could go to our room?" he asked softly. "Please. We can discuss anything else you want, but could we go there?"
no subject
Taking one of Yukimura's hands in his he lead him the short distance to Kusuriyuri and Kurama, though he said nothing. He was tentative about making a target of himself, of ruining his chances of having both Yukimura and Kurama.
no subject
"You're right. I hadn't even considered the possibility of Yukimura until this one ran off to find you. As soon as we realized was was going on, we split up to find him. Kuro and I did, I mean." He glared at Youko pointedly, and his demon half had the grace to shut up on this point.
Kurama held the look, then grimaced apologetically at Kusuriyuri. "I'm sorry, Koi. If I'd known this would happen..." he let the sentence hang. He just had a way with ruining his own life, didn't he.
no subject
Yukimura nodded, fighting the urge to cling to Kuronue. He hadn't realized, before now, just how much he relied upon their bond.
no subject
He pointed at Youko. "He's not just an annoying split personality buried in Kurama. That is the core of him."
Looking at Yukimura he smiled a little and squeezed his hand, then back to the others. "Uh, we're going to go...we need some time alone."
no subject
Yukimura nodded and squeezed Kuronue's hand. "This did have to come up, at some point, and we will speak of it again, but now, I think you're right, we need some time and so do they." He knew and accepted that Kuronue still loved Kurama and was confident that that love wouldn't take away from Kuronue's love for him. It was not being able to feel or hear Kuronue through their connection that was disturbing him so much right now.
no subject
"Please, let's go," he said, so close to begging that the parts of him that would never do such a thing took enough notice to follow, even reaching out - a little tentatively - to Kusuriyuri.
"Right," Youko murmured, distracted by following Kuronue and Yukimura with his eyes. "Let's go home."
no subject
Then he turned his attention back to Yukimura. It had all just been one big clusterfuck of an afternoon for all it had started out well.

Yukimura threaded his fingers through Kuronue's, more relieved than he liked to be headed toward his room with his lover.
