The Water Warlocks (Open Chocolate Plot, whole school)
They'd raced through the dungeon, Kuronue taking the West end, Kurama the East, and by the time they met up again, every water pipe in the place was glowing a different color. Some were even alight with colors that didn't even exist, or sparkled and dripped in disconcerting ways.
"Excellent," Kurama grinned, shoving his wand back into its holster. "I wonder what'll happen once the sprinklers go on in the greenhouses."
There was a long pause of contemplation.
"I think you might wanna take a day or two off work," Kuronue said, catching a distant tinkle of glass as something in that general area broke. Or, broke free.
"D'you think we might not have planned this out too carefully?" Kurama asked.
Another long pause.
“Still, you know... No need to get tentacle raped or something.” Kuronue looked oddly pleased at the possibility of such happening however. Especially since he knew it was possible.
Well, it was Kurama.
((OOC - Kuro socking done with mun approval. Basic chocolate plot rules apply, all the water in the school is magicked, cursed, charmed, and so forth, all with different effects up to the mun. Have fun!))

"You want to know what he's thinking now?"
"Don't... don't tell him what I'm thinking please don't..."
"He is sending a little prayer to Inari to not be mad if Kusuriyuri says yes," Youko crowed, practically singing. Kurama made a sound between a groan and a sob and sagged against Youko's shoulder. "And I can hear her smirking."

Oh god. He gave a small whimper and squirmed, far too aroused to be unable to touch. Circumstances for the moment rather disallowed it, however, and this was messy, so messy. "I'll tell you what I'm thinking," he said, the words falling from his mouth before he could stop them. "I'm thinking that you need to tell the truth all the time."
He gave his tail an apologetic pat, smoothing the fur out with his fingers.

It was an unused room, a few desks and chairs and an old dusty couch the only decoration, Youko shoved Kurama off his shoulder and onto the couch, then set Kuronue down with a little more care. Then he stepped back and smiled.
"You little mortals play nice now," he said, fire and evil glittering in his eyes. "I'm going to go talk with Koibito. And Kurama," he reached out and tweaked his other half's nose, earning an indignant smack on the hand for his troubles, "tell the truth." He leaned in and gave them both a kiss, lingering a little longer with Kuronue, and then vanished. Kurama could hear/feel Youko casting a locking spell on the door, and then... they were alone.

He sat, dazed, for a long moment and then turned to look at Kurama. He swallowed thickly. "If you want it so much...why didn't you talk with Kusuriyuri about it?" he asked, trying to push down the flush on his cheeks.
He shifted a little closer to Kurama, moving along the couch. He didn't stop until he was almost in Kurama's lap. "I know you love him...but you love me too, don't you?" It still sounded almost surreal, even after all they'd been through over the past year.

"I love you, I just... I'm selfish," he grasped Kuronue's shoulders, his knuckles turning white. "I don't want to take you after all the shit I put you through. I mean, I hurt you, why would you want me?"
no subject
He reached up, cupped Kurama's face in his hands. "I could never stop loving you. Ever."

He'd wanted others, of course, but he needed them. He'd go mad if either of them were to suddenly disappear, but having Kuronue so close and not doing anything about it was far worse. He wouldn't want anyone else if he had them.
"I don't understand," he muttered, pressing his forehead to Kuronue's, holding him like a lifeline. His cheeks were wet and hot and he hated the feeling of crying, but hated more the idea of letting go for now.

He smiled sadly and held onto Kurama in turn, slid his arms over his shoulders and rested his head against Kurama's. It felt good just to be this close to Kurama, and to be able to hope to calm him like this. He still couldn't believe this was happening, half felt like it had to be a joke after so long being denied.

There it was, a cognitive flash in the turned-off parts of his brain. He gripped Kuronue's shoulders again, but this time with a little more urgency. "What about Yukimura?" This was said with more than a little feeling of dread, he had visions of katanas shining in the dark as maybe more than the warning of a jilted lover. Not that Yukimura could permanently hurt him, but their friendship was on shaky ground at best, and at worst... well, the man had cut his head off once.

"Yuki? He has Sasuke so I don't see why he'd..." Kuronue trailed off into silence, his eyes going wide.
Yuki?
Nothing.
One of his hands flew to his neck covering where his mark should have been. he felt nothing, no Yukimura in the back of his mind, no bond, no feeling of his presence--or anyones at all.
And he'd been so wrapped up in Kurama to not have noticed.
He looked at Kurama, horrified. "The-the mark..." Yukimura would have been going insane! Kuronue had when Karasu had taken Yukimura, and to have done this to his lover after knowing that Yukimura would have been heartbroken by the prospect of his popcorning. He made a small, helpless sound, remembering that Youko had locked the door.

"We're both thieves still," he said, stalking over to the door. "Human, but we still have the know-how. And I really suck at spells anyway, so I'm sure this isn't too strong to keep us in for a very long time."
no subject
He stood, followed Kurama to the door. Reaching up into his hair, he pulled his wand out from the tie he had his hair up in and stared at the door. "I don't know where to start... uh, Alohomora?"
His wand glowed a little, the door clicked.

There was a long silence. "You're never going to let me live that down, are you," he said flatly, shoving his hands in his pockets. He gave Kuronue a long-suffering look. "For the rest of my life you're going to tease me about that."
no subject
He tried to smile a little as he made his way out into the hall, rather overwhelmed with where to go first. He spun on his heel a little, looking in both directions before turning to look at Kurama. He fell easily into looking to him for what to do next when at a loss.

He toed off his shoes and sat down next to his lover with a flop and a grin. "And I've locked Kuronue and the rest of me up in a room together, so there is a slight bit of urgency in this dialog, but nothing insane. I won't do anything unless I hear from me first."

He took a breath. "I'm here because I want to propose a solution to the you-me-Kuronue problem."

"Oh, shit," he mumbled. "I forgot about Yukimura."

Finding him was far easier than expected. Yukimura crashed into Kusuriyuri a couple of floors away, only about halfway to the popcorn room. "He's not there! He's not anywhere! Where...where is he?" the samurai demanded, grabbing onto Kusuriyuri, keeping them from falling in his panic to have answers. "Where!?" he asked, his tone agonized, his eyes seeking out Kurama.

"Look, he's locked in a room down the hall with me, we just need to go there."

Kusuriyuri frowned at Kurama. "What he forgets is that he has been hexed so that his aspects are separate. Kuronue was hexed into being human."
"Human?" Yukimura echoed, his eyes widening as he leaned more against the peddler, his knees weakening. "Just human, nothing else?" he asked, his voice faint.
