Office Hours--Divinations
Kusuriyuri decided it had been long enough since he had opened his office. There were other factors influencing this decision, but a good part of it was he felt he was neglecting his duty.
Outside his office door and several other places around the school, signs appeared declaring the Divinations office open for any students who wished to talk, to consult, or who just happened to wander by.
Kusuriyuri knelt behind his table, shincha brewing as it was the season for it, waiting for any who would come in, wondering if a particular one would come in.
OOC: Yeah, this is a 'trap' for a particular character, but is also regular office hours. And, if you're particularly interested in a type of divination or anything else you'd like to see Kusu teach, feel free to mention it :D

He poured a cup of tea and set it before his guest. "You are like the one called Austria?" he asked.

He brightened at the mention of a more-familiar and welcome topic. "Yes, exactly. I'm a nation too. You've met Austria?"
no subject
To the second, he nodded. "This one has met Austria and one called France. This one finds it interesting, to meet nations. He had not before considered this a possibility."
no subject
He grimaced at the mention of France's name. "I'm sorry that you had to meet France. Austria is a good friend, though. Which nation do you belong to?"
no subject
"This one is from where is now called Japan," he replied to the second question.

Holy Roman Empire was vaguely familiar with Japan; he traded a lot of nice things from his house. The way Kusuriyuri phrased it was a bit odd, though. "Are you from different time than right now, then?" he guessed. "Where I'm from last, it's 1648."

Kusuriyuri tilted his head slightly, considering. "This one is from about ninety years past, most recently, but he has lived long. He is familiar with the country being called Nippon, and elsewise before that."
no subject
"Are you also not human?" he wondered, since like himself Kusuriyuri didn't much resemble his age. He'd put Kusuriyuri's colorful looks, which would have been very out of place in his own house, down to some quirk of Japan's place or Hogwarts. But now that he was paying closer attention, Holy Roman Empire couldn't recall anyone ever remarking that pointed ears were a trait of Japan's people.

Holy Roman Empire drained his cup of tea and set it back on the table, then stood up. "Thank you for everything, Professor Kusuriyuri. I'm sure we'll run into one another again. In the meantime, I'll study hard!" he vowed.
