Office Hours--Divinations

Kusuriyuri decided it had been long enough since he had opened his office. There were other factors influencing this decision, but a good part of it was he felt he was neglecting his duty.

Outside his office door and several other places around the school, signs appeared declaring the Divinations office open for any students who wished to talk, to consult, or who just happened to wander by.

Kusuriyuri knelt behind his table, shincha brewing as it was the season for it, waiting for any who would come in, wondering if a particular one would come in.

OOC: Yeah, this is a 'trap' for a particular character, but is also regular office hours. And, if you're particularly interested in a type of divination or anything else you'd like to see Kusu teach, feel free to mention it :D

She turned her head away, but kept her eyes locked firmly on him. The action was born of her curiosity, and the slight narrowing of her eyes was playful, but also a slight reprimand of her own. "'Here' is very vague, peddler. Do you mean at Hogwarts, splendid playground it is, or your office?"

She was being purposefully pedantic, yes. Frustration was a beautiful thing.

She traced the edge of the desk with a fingertip. "Hm. My goal at Hogwarts will likely be the same as my goal in the world I was in before coming here. I want to eat memories, and, do you know that it is always the most painful memories that taste the best? I like to make them as painful as I can before dining."

She smiled pleasantly. "That would be what I am doing here as well, I believe. Kurama--no, Sensei, caught my eye. And you helped the Chairman too. I am certain you helped Fuuka too, didn't you?"

She leaned forward, placing her elbow on the table and resting her chin on her palm. "Well aren't you just a bleeding heart. Have memories you'd like to keep do you? Ones about Kurama? About others?" She chuckled.

"Good memories are wonderful things to have," he said, softly. All the better when they're turned into desperate memories of happier days as the bad ones Apos creates overshadow them with pain and torment.

"Scales?" he asked, more to himself. He blinked at the, finding them curious, wondering as to their relevance. For judgement, perhaps? In that case, since they were level now, he wondered if they would tip when his wings were out.

She tilted her head. "Scales I have seen before. Not ones like this though." She inspected the bells on the ends curiously.

Then, her wings burst from her back, six red long pinions, the two at the top smaller than the lower two. She watched the scales, her head tilting further. She wondered if they would react at all to the angel's influence, the killer nature in her.

Her wings folded back against her back, sinking into his skin. Her dress as untorn, but perhaps only because the back was low. She was used to her clothes being torn after releasing her wings.

She smiled. "Not man nor woman; not human; not demon; not angel; not immortal." She chuckled a little. "I am a god."

She stared. Tilted her head. "Is that so?"

She knew how she was going to carve his wooden block now. A knight, this one, definitely.

Apos laughed. "Of course not. We are from different worlds, after all, are we not?" She refused to think of herself as anything less that a god.

It was what she was and no mortal could tell her otherwise.

Still, he had insulted her. She nodded her head a little, then stood, smoothing out the skirt of her dress. "I'll bet it was most interesting, having met those gods. I wonder how you will feel once realisation dawns on you that they cannot save you?" She smiled kindly.

The energy skittered along her skin, made it tingle. Her smiled widened as her eyes darted around the room. "Saa..." She pressed a finger to her lips, then looked upwards, thinking.

"Your gods are not here, however. Most likely, they won't help. I can hold my own against other gods too, you see." She licked her lips then bowed slightly, intending to take her leave soon.

"Honestly I don't care," she said, expression turning blank.

She smiled at being called cruel. "Tell me, in all honesty, do you think you'll be able to stop me?" She laughed. "I don't think so."

She picked at the hem of her dress and walked over to the door to slip her shoes back on, looking down at her feet as she spoke. "I like pain, whatever punishment you think up, however you try to punish me, will be useless in the long run. I'll just come back and hurt you and your friends again and again and again, and when I think you're ready, I'll eat all of that pain."

Apos laughed. "Think what you will," she said.

"I'll be seeing you, Kusuriyuri-san." She let herself out, taking her time. If nothing else, she had scouted him, knew what he was like now.
