He cleared his throat a little awkwardly and held out her jacket for her to take. She wasn't fine. Kaga hadn't been fine for a long time, and he, too, had once, many centuries ago, been in her position. "I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner," he said, softly, trying to convey how very much he felt it. "We knew she was dangerous, but we haven't gotten the chance to warn everyone just yet. Hopefully she'll be sorted soon and you'll be safe." He felt reasonably guilty for not being able to protect her, or Kaga.

He met her eyes and tried once again to look non-threatening and not charming as he usually was with females. She didn't need it right now. "I'm Kuronue," he said, giving he a small closed lipped smile to hide his fangs. "If you want, I can get you something to cover yourself a little better."
