As I'm sure you've found out by now, I was Sorted into Gryffindor, which is where you wanted to have me Sorted in the first place.  Either way, I wanted to set things straight between us because I don't want you getting the idea that I'm angry with you for the way things have been between us--and, truth be told, all of us--for a very long time.  I just wanted to talk to you as soon as possible.

Dear Blythe,

I am glad to hear you'll be joining me here. I hope you're happy with where you've been sorting. I really do think it's a fine house -- I've met a few very nice people here. I am sorry I left so abruptly the other day. Truth be told, I don't know what we were arguing about. I've felt kind of off-center since arriving here, even despite those handful of nice folks I mentioned. Meet me in the Gryffindor common room?

I'd be happy to do just that. I think I'd also like to take that tour of the castle you offered me, if that's alright. I overheard something in the hallway about a Room of Requirement and I find myself wondering exactly what that is.
