I mentioned I'd found out what a dildo is. I have one currently in my possession if you want to see it, although it isn't nearly as impressive as I thought it would be.
Laurie plopped down on a couch in the Gryffindor Common Room, absently thumbing through a book on magic he was half- heartedly studying. Though he was ashamed to admit it he was secretly very glad that Jo had returned. Laurie was still excessively shy when first meeting people and had so far stuck tenaciously to solitude and his piano.
Jo came pelting down the stairs, carrying a rather nondescript cardboard box, which she set down on a nearby table so she could pound Laurie on the back in what she considered a manly fashion. "Teddy!" she said effusively. "It's good to see you! How are you finding Hogwarts?" She artlessly flopped down next to him on the sofa, just glad to be in his company again.
"Ow," Laurie said, feigning an injury in order to be a good sport. "I'm finding Hogwarts alright, though you've grown much stronger since you left. Is it the fashion to be breaking your friends' collarbones these days? What's in the box?" He grinned. "I'm glad to see you Jo."
((I really don't feel like looking for pictures of vibrators on the intarwebs, so feel free to use your imagination.))
Jo laughed. "I'm sorry, Teddy," she said, settling back on the sofa and opening the box. "This is apparently a dildo."
It should be noted here that though the box promised to deliver a vibrating personal massager, batteries were something that hadn't been invented in Jo's time, and she hadn't figured out how the vibrating part was supposed to work.
Laurie looked at the dildo curiously, made a mental connection he was sure Mrs. March would not approve of, and turned red. "Um. It's... an interesting shape there Jo."
Jo looked at the plastic thing in the box and frowned. "It is," she said. Then she noticed Laurie's blush. "Oh, no. I've embarrassed you. Whyever for?"
"No!" Laurie said quickly. "No! You, um, you haven't embarassed me at all Jo. I um, I... was looking at the package and I remembered that I, um... I haven't studied... engineering and science and those sorts of dull as tombs things in months." He paused, knowing that the lie was quite terrible. "Um, you- you didn't send one of those to anyone of your sisters back home, did you?"
"Of course I didn't!" Jo answered indignantly. "I can hardly expect them to know what one of these things is, either." She frowned at him. "But you have an idea, I can tell. Come on, let's hear it!"

Sounds like a lark! Where do you want to meet?

Let's meet in the Gryffindor common room and see if we can find a more private place from there.
