((Open RP in the halls between the Sorting Room and Ravenclaw))


Indy was officially Sorted, whatever that meant. But at least he was being put somewhere, a place he could sleep, collect himself, and, more importantly, get a drink.

He meandered through the halls, watching a parchment with a map on it, with a bright red dot that moved as he did, and said "You Are Here" over his location. He forgot who gave it to him, but he was glad for it. Brother, the staircases moved in this place. He definitely needed a drink. And to find the brains in Ravenclaw. But mostly a drink.

He walked along, trying not to think about how much the name Ravenclaw reminded him of the name Ravenwood.

Daniel was just coming back from his office, arms loaded with books and coffee-mugs, when he spotted Dr. Jones.

"Hey," he said, shifting his armload. "You look a little lost. Looking for Ravenclaw?"

"Yup," Indy said, incredibly glad to see Daniel. "Need some help carrying that stuff?"

"If you wouldn't mind--I should have left the coffee cups, but the house elves steal them if I do." The fact that it wouldn't be problem if he didn't let them pile up until he'd covered every available surface was beside the point. "This place is pretty confusing, at first--hell, I've been here for months and I still get lost."

"Sure," Indy said, taking some of Daniel's assorted burdens. "So, you teach Divination, right? I need to go get a wand. Is there a quick way to do that? And what kind of wand do you recommend? I mean, it's not really got any powers, does it?"

The telltale clacking of his hooves echoes through the maze of stone corridors long before Pegasus is in sight. Upon noticing the man, Pegasus approaches him from behind and attempts to bite the brim of his hat. There's nothing like a good game of keep-away to stave off boredom.
