Sam all but flinched as his brother slammed down the beer angrily. He needed Dean to do this with him, he needed him to understand, but he couldn’t force the issue. The younger Winchester nodded, “I was going to show it to Bobby too.”
“Dean, this is the only way. Things will finally work out for us. Look, I don’t regret jumping to save you. And if I can do this, I can save Adam and keep me out of Hell. You’re not going to be alone for those years. I’ll still be able to visit you. I won’t leave you alone, I promise.”
He gave a half-shrug. “And.. I can do some real good while I’m there. I can try and help people. It’s what we’ve always done, right?”
“I need you with me on this Dean,” he said quietly. “Please.”
