Youko started to follow, but Kurama stopped him. The demon half of him gave a long-suffering sigh.

"I was only trying to-"

"I know," Kurama interrupted. "Believe me, I know. Let's go back to the greenhouse. I don't think anywhere else would be wise at the moment."

They waited in the hall until the sound of footsteps died away, then wade haste back to the greenhouses. The sprinklers had stopped, by then, and though the Greenhouses were in near-total chaos. At least they had that to occupy themselves with.
