Owl to Ofdensen [+closed RP: Nathan/Charles]

There's uh, my bed. It's covered in blood. Or something else red. And sticky. I mean I found it this way, I was passed out drunk in the common room for a while... like I do. My bed, god, it's completely saturated. I sat on it and this huge puddle of blood seeped out onto the floor, so now my floor's all bloody too. It's really brutal, but I can't sleep in this shit. And it kinda smells like dead troll in here. And it's making me weirdly hungry.

Your bed. You know. Isn't as big as mine, but it's all right. I mean it's a NICE bed, a really nice bed. Uh...

Can I borrow it? To sleep in. With you. In your bed. If you're busy with your class thing, that's cool. I can sleep through noise. I won't bug you, I promise. Unless you look like you could use some bugging.

Nathan moved the basket of shampoo and such closer, then followed Charles into the shower, ducking under the spray first thing and rinsing off the traces of blood that had soaked through his clothes. There was more than he'd expected; enough to turn the draining water pink for a short time, anyway.

"No wonder I felt so sticky," he muttered. There wasn't a lot of room in the shower, so he took advantage of this by moving behind Charles and reaching around him, ostensibly to soap up Charles' chest for him. Surprisingly, Nathan didn't drop the soap.

"Er, how much blood did you say there was again?" Poor Ofdensen, so used to thinking as a manager he has a hard time not doing so.

"My bed was pretty soggy. Like stepping into a kiddie pool of blood soggy. It was oozing across the floor, too." Nathan paused to consider this, muttering to himself again about 'beds full of blood... blood bed... blood room...' This continued for several moments as he tried to work out lyrics. Realising he could, in fact, multitask, he resumed running his hands through the lather on Charles' chest, moving upward to get his neck too.

Ofdensen's eyes closed as his neck was washed. "Memory-sharpening charm if you forget," he murmured. "No recorder in here."

"Your memory's good; you can remind me later... in bed," Nathan said with amusement, leaning in to lightly bite at Ofdensen's neck. His hands eventually ventured south and he wrapped one around Ofdensen's cock, picking up where he'd left off before the shower.

"You know. We've known each other for—how many years," he said vaguely. It was a rhetorical question, a lead in for something he'd been wanting to ask about.

"Mmmm?" Ofdensen hummed, caring more about the hands on his body than Nathan's words at that particular moment.

"Years," Nathan repeated vaguely, almost to himself. "But nine months is still... It's a long fucking time, Charles," he said in a low voice next to Ofdensen's ear, and slipped an arm around his chest possessively. He felt a strange sense of déjà vu, and thought he'd probably already said those same words several times now. His memory wasn't unscathed from all the years of heavy drug and alcohol abuse.

Still, Nathan had been pretty good about this. He hadn't really pushed for explanations from Ofdensen, even though the uncertainty could sometimes wear him down.

"Believe me," Ofdensen murmured, raising one hand toward Nathan's head, "if I could explain, I would. But for now, Nathan, ignorance is bliss."
