Nathan moved the basket of shampoo and such closer, then followed Charles into the shower, ducking under the spray first thing and rinsing off the traces of blood that had soaked through his clothes. There was more than he'd expected; enough to turn the draining water pink for a short time, anyway.
"No wonder I felt so sticky," he muttered. There wasn't a lot of room in the shower, so he took advantage of this by moving behind Charles and reaching around him, ostensibly to soap up Charles' chest for him. Surprisingly, Nathan didn't drop the soap.
