Valentine's Day - not for the single. ((open rp))

Valentine’s Day. A day for lovers and a day to remind the single people that they are still, well, single.
And if you’re a lonely, sickly wizard, it’s just going to make you crankier. The decorations and general squishy, lovey mood had only served to darken Raistlin’s mood. Setting fire to the pink paper hearts and cupids would have been satisfying, but it would have only created more work for the house elves, and he didn’t want to create more work for the creatures that he actually liked.

He tried to avoid the festivities by  reading in the library and hoping that when he left, all the nonsense would be over with. Because he certainly wasn't hiding or trying to avoid the entire holiday.

"Oh yes! We're part of a guild that explores and rescues lost Pokemon and fight outlaws! I usually fight with Corphish and Loudred."

"Raistlin tried to ignore the voice, but wasn't having much luck. Maybe questions about Sunflora would distract him from his own troubles."

He growled a curse under his breath before turning back to Sunflora. "So you protect your own. What do these outlaws do?"

"They pick on other Pokemon and steal items and won't give them back, so we have to fight them to get it back."

Sunflora was still pouting because the voice would not leave them alone.

"Very noble. It reminds me of my.. companions back on Krynn."

"Raistlin didn't think that the rest of the party even liked him. Flint and Tanis were always leery of him and his abilities. It made Raistlin very sad."

He gave an aggrivated sigh, raking his fingers through white hair.

Sunflora frowned. "That's very sad. Your team not even liking you."

Sunflora felt sorry that Raistlin didn't have friends, and resolved to be the best one she could be to him.

"Rasitlin was happy that Sunflora wanted to be his friend. Suddenly Hogwarts wasn't so lonely."

"Don't you have someone else to annoy, or something better to do?"

"Nope."

"Hmmmph." Sunflora crossed her leaves. "Meanie voice."

"We're going about this all wrong," he murmured. Raistlin knelt closer to Sunflora, "Is there someone here you don't like? Or someone that's mean to you? Maybe we can convince the voice to bother them instead."

Sunflora nodded. "There's a mean man that wanted to kill Wigglytuff! Go bother him!"

She meant Lezard.

"Fine," the voice huffed. "Who's that anyway?"

Raistlin resisted the urge to smack his head against the nearest hard surface. "Anyone, just.. go. Find someone else to bother."

Sunflora glowered until the voice vanished. "Stupid voice."
