"Michael...calls me that (http://community.livejournal.com/hogwarts_hocus/1459137.html#cutid2)," Pam tried to reply in response to the "Pam-a-lam-a-ding-dong," her dismay evident in her voice, but her reply faded into a whisper as Andy hugged her and then blabbed on. And in a way, she had to admit that hearing him be, well...Andy...was comforting. Annoying and disconcerting, yes, but she was used to this, and although she had been at Hogwarts for quite a while, it still wasn't home.
"Ummm, scarlet and gold, I think," she replied in response to Andy's question about House colors, although she didn't see its relevance. "I didn't realize there was a Benihana's here -- " then again, Michael had only asked her to keep an eye out for Chili's and Hooters, should someone choose to open one in Hogsmeade " -- but if you're hungry, I can bring you something from the Great Hall. They're still serving lunch." Having been ordered to do some of the most annoying and idiotic tasks for Michael, Pam empathized greatly with the house-elves and thus tried to avoid ordering them to do things she could just do herself.
