As Kid looked at the item in Jing's possession, he slowly held up his right hand to confirm that one of his rings was missing. That meant, as his pained mind grappled with the facts, that his left hand was incredibly contrasting with his right.

"What... have you done?" This was just as bad as when his hair was accidentally cut during battle. Rather than doing the reasonable thing, and removing his other ring to balance things out- he had an adverse physical reaction, spitting blood and promptly passing out on the floor.
