After making sure that the closet wouldn't pull any more stunts like it had with Kusuriyuri, Kurama grabbed hs clothes for the day and took a quick shower before heading to the greenhouses for the day's work. Someone tell him that his hair is pink.

Unfortunately for Mystina, it is now her closet that is infected with a particular brand of perversion. She does look good in a playboy bunny suit, though. Comments about fat-bottomed girls making the rockin' world go round will be met with black magic, but are welcome for the lulz. She can't seem to aim today, anyway.

It might have been something in his breakfast, but Matsuda's main form of communication for the day is mime and interpretive dance. Fizgig, not to be left out, is sparkling and occasionally bursting into flame a-la the Human Torch. Only she's a dog.

Is insisting that his name is 'Tylenol.' Any mentions of Vanyel or related subjects will cause him to launch himself from the nearest height, be it a chair or a tower. Depending on how high he's willing to climb.

"April Fool's Day," he corrected, automatically. "It's the school doing it, is it? I haven't even eaten anything."

"Probably, yeah..." Another sigh. "At least you have a color that's closer to normal." He tugged at a lock of his own hair, glaring at it.

"I'd hardly call this normal. It looks as though I tried to drown myself in bleach."

"Yeah, but it isn't pink. I've had enough of pink to last me the next ten lifetimes." Oh, do ask why. It's so fun to tease him about it.

"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow. Which wasn't blonde, by the way, just to make the effect even more ridiculous.

"...was there a private school called Meiou Academy in your Toyko?"

"Not that I know of."

"Weeeeell," he drawled, not particularly liking having to relive those years. "That was the high school I went to in my Tokyo, when I was living as a human. One of the best... but the people who ran the school decided that all of us kids weren't big enough targets, being nerdy private school kids and all. The boys' uniforms were bright pink, and the girls were all blood red. It was awful."

"I can imagine." He really could. High school was bad enough without the humiliating uniform.

"Aah, so I don't like the color. School-san knows this, I suppose," he sighed. "But why the blond for you, I wonder?"

"I have no idea, and I don't care as long as I can get rid of it."

Well, either hair dye or spells will probably work. I'd go for the dye, but all I have is red, thanks to Mello." That smartass. "You're heading to the library, right?"

"Yes. I don't have any dye."

The corner of his mouth twitched at Mikami's reply. Of course he wouldn't have something like hair dye. "I'll go with you, then. Better to look with two sets of eyes."

"...all right." He didn't necessarily want to spend any more time with Kurama, but he couldn't deny it was a sensible suggestion.

Kurama walked quietly alongside Mikami, exercising as much tact as he could manage. He had to admit curiosity over Mikami's mental state, but figured the query wouldn't be very appreciated. so he'd leave it to Mikami to strike up any conversation that didn't deal strictly with how to fix their hair problem. For now.

He didn't say anything more until they reached the library, and then it was partly to himself. "Would this fall under Charms or Transfiguration...? Probably Charms. Transfiguration would give us - serpents for hair, or something similar."

"Charms, I'm sure. Unless you'd like snakes for hair. Hell of a defense mechanism, I would think."

He shuddered a little, and headed for the Charms section. "But far more trouble than they'd be worth."

"True... showers would be hellish." He browsed among the books, tapping the spines idly. "Could be worth learning just because, though. I can think of at least five people I'd like to try that on."

Mikami gave him a disapproving glare over the top of his glasses, and continued examining the shelves, looking for anything to do with personal appearance.

Kurama grinned impishly back, picking out a book that looked promising. "This one has color-change spells, but they've only ever been tested on... goats."

He looked at the spell in question, frowning. "...how much difference is that likely to make?" It wasn't something he was anxious to test.

"Well," he flipped through the book, looking at all the effects of the spell. "Ah, here. Seventy-five percent chance of the subject experiencing changes in hair texture and bone structure, as well as developing a taste for unconventional foods and experiencing territorial aggression." He lifted an eyebrow. "So, if you're already a goat, I suppose it'll be just fine."

He sighed, turning back to the shelves. "Why would anyone need to change the colour of a goat, anyway?"
