So, the talking hat (which was somehow more intimidating than a talking fridge) had placed Satou in Ravenclaw. The trouble was,he had no idea what that meant, and the bizarre little bug-eyed big-eared creatures he'd seen scuttling around unnerved him too much to try and ask.

He had, however, taken Kurama's promise of free room and board to heart, and a bit of wandering had lead him to the Great Hall, which happened to have a modest buffet laid out. Jackpot! Before anyone could tell him he couldn't, he took a plate and began piling on fish and chips (mostly fish).

That was the board part seen to. Now he needed to sort out the room.

He was wary of letting the conversation dwell on creative abilities too long, lest his endeavours in writing pornographic scenarios surface once more.

"Painting? Yeah, that's hard. All those... brushes, and paints, and, er, canvases and stuff."

Oh, smooth.

Unity found Satou's lack of conversational skills reassuring. It meant he was less likely to pick up on her own mistakes.

"I assumed it would be a simple matter of reproducing what I saw. But it turned out that there was something more to it."

"I've never tried it actually. I could never afford all the supplies, and I don't really have room."

"If you wanted to, there is lots of room here and the house elves would be glad to bring you supplies."

That wasn't really what he'd expected to hear.

"Oh, I never really wanted to. I just haven't, is all."

Satou didn't really have the drive to be an artist.
