[Closed RP] Second verse, same as the first

Wishbone shrugged on his jacket and stuck his wand inside. He had decided that today was a day to try catnip and play with the cats. The sun was bright, the grass was green. It was an ideal day.

A had already said that he could, so Wishbone went outside to meet them. He was a bit surprised to see that Mello had joined them though, but he didn't think much of it.

Hi A! Hi Mello! Hi Einstein! Hi Schrodinger!

"A very happy cat right now," A observed. "It must be interesting to compare the difference between this form and your normal self when you are so relaxed."

No, chocolate's tops on his list. Can't say he can't have it if he's human, now can you?

Bored with the feel of leather, Wishbone moved on to A's jean-clad legs. I remember this. It was rough!

It's stupid to feel abandoned by a stoned...cat...dog... I lean back against the wall and pull out a lego and start running it between my fingers. "Does it feel different now?" I ask.

"Does everything feel very intense now?"

A was curious. He knows Schrodinger and Einstein like catnip, but not exactly how it makes them feel.

Wishbone didn't quite understand, but he tried to answer anyway.

I like touching things and rubbing against them. I feel like I can feel it better. Like your pants are rougher than if I touched them normally, and I wouldn't have noticed that your boots-that had better not come from Near's towers-were so smooth. And.... Wishbone rolled on his back to distract himself And Schrodinger's softer..

I look at the lego in my hand. "It's one he said I could have." Which, while not strictly true in the fact I hadn't directly asked him, was true by the logic that the thing kept ending up in my pocket.

Wishbone was so blissfully silly that A had to laugh.

"It must be nice to feel that way," A said. "You can have some catnip when you like."

Well, that's all right then, if Near let you have one. It's sweet. Wishbone suddenly shot up and ran for the other two cats, hoping to tackle them both.

Okay, that was funny, to see the tangle of cats rolling around on the floor. They seemed to bounce off some of the pots before they even touched them. Interesting.

"They look so happy," A remarked. "It's nice."

Wishbone ended on the bottom of a ~~dog~~ catpile, Einstein and Schrodinger both on top of him.

Not that he cared, he was laughing so hard.

I couldn't help but laugh when Schro started cleaning the other two so enthusiastically, she'd start on Wishbone and end up on Ein in the same lick. The expression on Ein's face was one of amused resignation. I wonder what he'd say if he could. I'm sure Schro would be a bossy know it all.

"I am glad they are all having fun. I was a little worried that Schrodinger would want to fight."

The little white cat was feisty.

If she could talk, Wishbone would definitely be whipped.

He rubbed his head close to hers and stretched his paws, tail flicking.

Einstein feels soft too!

"Cat fur is softer than dog fur," I comment as blandly as I can. This really is too funny...if I ignore the longing to be high and be with Near.

"But their tongues are rougher," A observed. "I am sure there is a link."

But the tongues still feel nice.... If Wishbone's closed eyes while Schrodinger licked him was any indication.

"Wait till you figure out how to be human. They'll feel different then," I say. Not that cat tongues are that unpleasant, but they are definitely rough.

"Especially if they lick your face!"

Schrodinger licks hard.

It would be worth it! He snuggled closer to the cats.

Schro finishes with her cleaning and puts her paw over Ein's head. That cat would be an utter bitch as a human.

"For chocolate and cat-kisses?" I tease Wishbone.

"Chocolate and cat-kisses are very good things," A said solemnly.

Yes! Namely chocolate.

Wishbone tried to roll over again, a bit difficult when there are cats on top of him.

But Schrodinger can give me kisses already. I'm more looking forward to the chocolate.

I shake my head. "If you manage it, I'll make sure you get good chocolate," I promise.

"I'm sure it can't be much harder than becoming a cat," A said.
