[Closed RP] All battle systems are go

[[Closed to Sylar, KOS-MOS, and whatever Sylar-mun wishes to sock with]]

One would think one would be bored with endless patrolling. Certainly a human would be. KOS-MOS, however, thought nothing of it. She felt it her duty to protect Hogwarts.

Which is why when she heard a scream, she ran for the source.

Technically, he couldn't kill her either. No-Kill rule at the school. Frustrating, and yet... maybe it was better this way. Although it would be smashing right now if he could just... DESTROY her, thank you. "Yes, it's my top priority at the moment," he growled under his breath, and his other palm burst with radiation, twin flares burning in each hand. "I would rethink that decision if I were you."

Shit.

Sylar might have been good, very good, but something like that was a little hard to block. He managed to throw up both hands and stop the cannon burst halfway between them - hey, despite popular belief, he was not indestructible, and something like that was going to have him out of commission for a WHILE - but it didn't stop the explosion from detonating, flames licking at his arms and sending him sprawling backwards into the nearest wall and OW. He had to have at least cracked a few ribs, never mind the damage from the fire.

Bitch was going down. Sylar grabbed at the air in front of him, flinching a bit at the sting of his fingers moving, and invisible digits crept around KOS-MOS' throat, raising her above the ground as his eyes narrowed into a scowl. "I can see it now," he murmured in a hush, eyes flashing towards the cyborg. "Every last gear ticking away inside. How would it feel to take that apart, screw by screw, huh?"

What else did she have up her sleeves? LITERALLY. She pulled out weapon after weapon and, God, this was really putting his reflexes to the test, wasn't it? She wasn't as challenging as, say, Susan - but then this cyborg whatever-it-was didn't seem to be very advanced in the intelligence category. Then again she wasn't as difficult - little as he'd like to admit it - as Peter Petrelli, and he wasn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Woops. Let his guard down for a moment.

Sylar automatically lurched backwards, for lack of a better solution to the matter, getting himself... MOSTLY out of the way - there was definitely a new slice across the arm of his hoody sweatshirt now, with blood already welling to the surface of the sizable gash. Fantastic. "You owe me a new shirt," he automatically seethed in return, telekinetically slamming the sword - and her arm, consequentially - towards the stone floor, at an angle awkward enough to almost dislocate her shoulder.

He was a little distracted from the little show, naturally. Soon as she tore free from his grip, he was stumbling off to the side, sharp hiss sucking in his breath. God, blood was dripping down his fingertips, and that gash was worse than he initially thought, wasn't it?

Maybe he wasn't somebody to take off before a fight was over, but damn if he knew when he was beat. This was going to need stitches. And he'd had enough blood loss in the last few months to last him a lifetime. Before KOS-MOS could even finish getting the words out of her mouth, by the time she would have looked down, Sylar would have been gone.
