Legolas looked human, yet...not. Silas, who had more or less given up trying to fathom who--or what--half the people he met were, was nevertheless curious. There wasn't any diplomatic way to ask, though.

He followed after the man, conscientously shortening his stride--Legolas was far from short, but Silas tended to outdistance almost everyone without even trying.
