Jack was glad to be back to his normal height and age, though there was a downside to it all, his fort had gone. Though there was no-one to tell him he couldn't eat that much sugar. He had eaten a lot and it was good. So far it was a good day, until he realized what day it was. He swore silently. He had been a kid for a while so he had a very good reason why he'd forgotten. He quietly, well with as little fuss as possible sent the pterodactyl with a note to he house elves to bring them breakfast in bed, least he could do and he remembered last time what happened. That was a good time, though the crumbs in the bed not so much and the fact they'd ended up in his hair too. If it happened again well least he knew the quickest way to get rid of them this time. A house elf with a tray of food appeared not long after.

"Thanks." He said quietly before setting the tray at the end of the bed. "Hey." He poked at the shape under the covers next to him gently. "You awake?" Well if he wasn't then he would be soon. "Watch it something on the end of the bed." He moved to grab the tray anyway just in case.

JD smiled and leant in. "Yeah, we've to go about 7-ish."

"Can't we lie and say James is ill?" Jack then realised JD might get suspicious... "Er... I'm ill."

JD frowned. "Our non-existant kid is ill? Yeah, they'd totally buy that." he said, laughing.

"Funny thing that." Jack looked away. "Shemayhavemethim..."

JD frowned. "Jack, wh-" he frowned. Is this a time thing? "Jack...di-, did Tosh meet our kid?"

"Not exactly, more..." He made a face and gestured. "Me, but she thinks it was our kid."

JD bogled. "You mean you met her and... Frick." JD buried his head in the covers.

Jack tried to tug at the covers. "I just say things." Jack tried the covers again. "I'm sorry."

Surprisingly enough, as Jack pulled some of the covers away, JD's muffled laughter could be heard. "It's fine, you big dope. I'll just have to tell her-" he looked up and paused. "Nobody else thinks that, right?"

Oh now for worrying him like that, he was hit again and then tickled. "Mel and oh! From the party when you found me... I don't think there was anyone else..."

JD grinned and shook his head. "You're so dead." he said, laughing. "I'll owl them later and explain."

"Oh don't tell Tosh, I want to, I promise I'll do it later." Jack didn't quite pout up to the point he realised something. "Hey I got you breakfast in bed, where's my present." He leaned up to try and kiss JD. "I demand to be spoilt still and I want my story!"

JD laughed. "Fine, fine, but you're getting punished for the kid thing." he said as he rolled and leaned over the bed and started looking around under it.

Jack grinned. "Would that be a good punishment or a bad one? I'm still not over the whole sleepless night thing..." Jack moved so he was lying next to JD looking under the bed too.

JD found what he was looking for, tucked under a stray pair of pants and a sweater that had been shoved under the other day. He pulled out a small bag and grinned, before sitting back up. "Bad." he said, smiling.

"Oh..." Jack then scrambled up, the moments possibly fake sadness gone. "Gimmie!" He held his hands out. Not so over being the five year old after all.

JD laughed and shook his head. "Close your eyes first." he said, smiling.

Jack stuck his tongue out then closed his eyes holding his hands out, grinning as he waited.

JD laid the presents; a collection of photos of them both in a leatherbound book, a boquet of Roses, a teddy bear, one book of "JD must..." promises and several of the body-swapping chocolates in a box, with "For when you need some time to rest" written inside.

"I love you, Jack." JD said, smiling. "Happy Valentine's day."

Jack opened his eyes, the mad grin faded to a half smile as he saw what JD had got him, flicking though the photos. "I don't deserve you." He reached a hand out to put to JD's cheek. "Love you more." Jack then read the note with the chocolates, he put a hand to his face before running his fingers though his hair as he looked away, it meant so much to him that JD would do that for him.

JD smiled knowingly and reached over to peck Jack on the cheek. "Wanna bet?" he asked with a small smirk.

Jack looked through his fingers as he frowned. "You know something, wouldn't be fair on me." A small pause as he moved his hand. "Sure I'll bet."

Jack moved his other hand from his face and still with a frown looked at JD, more than slightly confused.

"You alright?" he asked, rubbing a hand against Jack's cheek.
