Flying was becoming a familiar, comforting thing.

Actually trying to practice, though... that was less comfortable. But there was definitely something satisfying, Nny reflected, about hitting bludgers through the air, looping around as they swung back towards them, and smacking them away again.

"Really? How do you know..." He blinked, remembering the way the board had been set up. "Do you know it was a Hufflepuff? Did they know it was you they were talking to?"

"They said I was their housemate. And yes, I wasn't anonymous in my response."

"Well, at least you were straightforward, then. Any idea who it was?"

"No clear ideas. Someone with grounds not to like Assassins..."

"Assassins in particular, or just killing people in general?" Nny tried to think through the people he knew of in Hufflepuff.

"They did call me a murderer. I think they have a problem with both."

"Well, that doesn't really narrow it down much. Any other clues?"

"Not really, no, which is of course most upsetting. Why, it could be anyone."

"But you think it's someone from on the team?"

"I might as well expect the worse, don't you think so?"

"Well, what did they say? Maybe we can figure out who it was."

"Do you know very many Hufflepuffs?"

"Just you, really. And I think one of River's friends is in Hufflepuff."

"Do you know anything about this friend?" He considered this information.

"I think she's a mechanic or something. I know she's one of the prefects."

"Oh. Kaylee, isn't it?"

"Yeah, that's her. She used to date River's brother or something."

"Oh. Do you think that she'd have anything against Assassins? Or have had any after her?"

"Well, she's River's friend. So if there were any Assassins after her, chances are they're rotting meat now."

"Ah. I really didn't think so either." Teatime shook his head. "There are so many Hufflepuffs that I don't know very much about. I should spend more time with my housemates, I suppose."
