[Open RP] Making plates

When Chairman Kaga opened the door to the Room of Requirement to find a replica of the house he had learned to make plates so long ago, he had been surprised, but not displeased. While he hadn't been any good at it, he DID find the time there enjoyable.

And this way, he could keep his wand at easy reach, in case of emergencies, and leave the door open so people could visit.

Having come to that decision, Kaga changed into more clay-friendly clothes and set to work.

Kaga looked up from his plate. "How is...am I that obvious?" Yukimura could not claim mind reading, after all.

"Your expression," Yukimura said. "You look besotted." He winked. "Though, I am a samurai. Superior powers of observation required and everything, you know."

"At least you aren't River Tam." Kaga said, going back to his plate. "She could see my thoughts."

He sighed and stopped a bit. "I doubt he feels the same way, though, so our drinking can continue uninterrupted."

"My friend, your face is very expressive. I would not know a name without you telling me, but I can see that something makes you very happy." He let his cheek rest against his knee. "I doubt, though, that he would have sought you out and shared magic candy with you if he did not feel something for you."

"He..." Kaga wiped his brow. "He had wanted to apologize for the incident with the aphrodisiac. I doubt it was anything more than that."

Yukimura smiled and shrugged, sitting up straight. "From what I have seen, I do not think so. I may be wrong, of course," but he seldom, if ever, was. He rose and walked over, placing a hand on Kaga's cheek. "He is very fortunate. I am almost jealous," he teased gently before letting his hand fall. "Will you show me how to do this?" he asked.

"I hope you're right," he said in a quiet voice, smiling a bit at Yukimura. "Yes, of course," Kaga then said, scooting over so Yukimura can join him. "I am not good at this, but I find it calming."

Yukimura took the offered seat. "Sometimes, that is what matters most," he said easily. He reached out and touched the plate Kaga had been working on lightly. "How does one start?" he asked.

Kaga smiled, and began to show Yukimura what he knew.
