[Closed RP] Second verse, same as the first

Wishbone shrugged on his jacket and stuck his wand inside. He had decided that today was a day to try catnip and play with the cats. The sun was bright, the grass was green. It was an ideal day.

A had already said that he could, so Wishbone went outside to meet them. He was a bit surprised to see that Mello had joined them though, but he didn't think much of it.

Hi A! Hi Mello! Hi Einstein! Hi Schrodinger!

A laughed softly as Schrodinger matched Wishbone's pace through the flower-filled entrance room. When they reached the large central room, however, she and Einstein bolted straight for the planter of catnip.

"They're ready for you to join them," he told Wishbone.

Wishbone soon trotted up to the planter, standing in between the two. He could smell it already. He stood on his hind legs, leaning against the planter, and looked at Schrodinger.

Ladies first, after all.

"Such a gentleman," I say. Either that, or Schro has managed to whip him, either way.

And, hell...I knew cannabis was a weed, but A's make's Rob's look rather pathetic. I wonder...

No. I'm not going to ask him.

Einstein and Schrodinger have no such compunction; they attack the plants gleefully, pulling off leaves and gnawing on them. Einstein dropped to the floor, wriggling gleefully.

Wishbone followed suit, gnawing on them.

Yay, I feel happy again! and he began to roll around on the ground.

Happy again? Huh.

I watch them. They're funny, the three of them. So, why do I feel jealous?

"Crazy cats," I say, trying to make it light, but maybe I miss.

Schrodinger, of course, has a different reaction to catnip. With ferocious energy, she leapt on Wishbone, tussling vigorously, nipping at his throat with more energy than actual intent to injure.

Oh, you wanna fight, huh? Wishbone struggled against Schrodinger, wriggling until he managed to escape, then he pounced on her. I got you! And now he's snuggling against her. Mmmmm....you're even softer now.

I shove my hands in my pockets and lean against the wall and just watch. I want to be with Near and a little high.

Maybe this wasn't the best idea.

A was grinning broadly at the feline antics, not noticing Mello's dimming enthusiasm.

"Her fur may be soft, but she is fighting hard!"

Wishbone laughed and got off Schrodinger, running over near Mello, rubbing against his boots. Hehehe, catch me if you can!

I can't help but smile. I lean down and try to catch him as he weaves through my legs. "Crazy...dog," I say.

With the feline equivalent of a shrug, Schrodinger settled down to gnawing Einstein's ear.

"Do not let him trip you," A warned. "Cats can be tricky."

Wishbone rubbed some more against the boots. But I'm a cat right now! Silly Mello.

I scratch his back as he moves. "Fine, then, you're a crazy cat." His fur is a lot softer this way. I wonder if he'll want 'nip' when he finally figures out how to become human.

"A very happy cat right now," A observed. "It must be interesting to compare the difference between this form and your normal self when you are so relaxed."

No, chocolate's tops on his list. Can't say he can't have it if he's human, now can you?

Bored with the feel of leather, Wishbone moved on to A's jean-clad legs. I remember this. It was rough!

It's stupid to feel abandoned by a stoned...cat...dog... I lean back against the wall and pull out a lego and start running it between my fingers. "Does it feel different now?" I ask.

"Does everything feel very intense now?"

A was curious. He knows Schrodinger and Einstein like catnip, but not exactly how it makes them feel.

Wishbone didn't quite understand, but he tried to answer anyway.

I like touching things and rubbing against them. I feel like I can feel it better. Like your pants are rougher than if I touched them normally, and I wouldn't have noticed that your boots-that had better not come from Near's towers-were so smooth. And.... Wishbone rolled on his back to distract himself And Schrodinger's softer..

I look at the lego in my hand. "It's one he said I could have." Which, while not strictly true in the fact I hadn't directly asked him, was true by the logic that the thing kept ending up in my pocket.

Wishbone was so blissfully silly that A had to laugh.

"It must be nice to feel that way," A said. "You can have some catnip when you like."

Well, that's all right then, if Near let you have one. It's sweet. Wishbone suddenly shot up and ran for the other two cats, hoping to tackle them both.

Okay, that was funny, to see the tangle of cats rolling around on the floor. They seemed to bounce off some of the pots before they even touched them. Interesting.
